Missouri has extended an offer to 2017 DE prospect Kofi Wardlow  6’4”  225  Washington (DC) St. John’s.   Not long afterwards, Wardlow talked about Mizzou and the current status of his recruitment.

"Missouri's my first SEC offer,"   said Wardlow.   "So that's a big deal.    Coach Cross told me that he's going to have a conversation with me and my parents sometime this weekend.    I'm really looking forward to that!"

"Coach Cross said that I'm a great athlete and that he likes the way I play,"   explained Wardlow.

Wardlow said he has "26 offers", including offers from Albany, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Army, Ball State, Boston College, Bowling Green, Butler, Central Florida, Fordham, Furman, Howard, Maryland, Michigan State, Monmouth, Nevada, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Virginia Tech, Youngstown State, and Florida A&M, among others, in addition to Missouri.

This is Wardlow's second year of football, and the quality of the former basketball player's offers have improved once his senior tape was available.

Kofi Wardlow brings speed to the position with a 40-time in the 4.6-second range.
